Eating to Help Stress & Anxiety

Yes, you read that right!

Eating the correct foods can actually help enable your body to handle stress better and bring you a sense of calm.

Currently, we are in a time of uncertainty, our lives and lifestyles have changed and we are all feeling a little stressed and anxious.

Be kind to yourself, take care of yourself.

Please know that in times of stress you need for certain nutrients such as Vit C, Vit B, magnesium, selenium, and fiber increase.  Adding foods rich in these nutrients promotes a sense of well being.

Quick fact: Try to focus on veggies, fruit, 100% whole grains, nuts, seeds, and unsweetened dairy products as they may benefit us in multiple ways at the biochemical level.
